About The Sleepy Baby

I'm a Certified Pediatric and Child Sleep Consultant, Postpartum Doula, and proud mom of three beautiful children. My passion for supporting families goes far beyond helping little ones sleep, it's about helping parents find balance, confidence, and a sense of calm during one of life's most rewarding, yet exhausting seasons.

For more than 19 years, I've worked in early childhood development in a variety of roles, including teacher, career nanny, child protection liaison officer, and postpartum doula. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Care and Education, and throughout my career I've had the privilege of supporting children and families through every stage of early childhood. These experiences have given me a deep understanding of child development and the unique challenges families face when sleep isn't going as planned.

Becoming a mother myself gave me an entirely new perspective. I know what it's like to spend long nights soothing a newborn, wondering if you'll ever feel rested again. I also know how overwhelming it can be when you're doing everything you can, yet nothing seems to be working. That's why I'm passionate about providing gentle, practical, and evidence-based sleep support that empowers parents and respects every family's individual parenting style.

Every child is unique, so I don't believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. Together, we'll create a personalized sleep plan tailored to your child's age, temperament, developmental stage, and your family's sleep goals. Whether you're navigating newborn sleep, frequent night wakings, short naps, or toddler bedtime battles, I'll be by your side with compassionate, one-on-one guidance every step of the way.

Originally from Ireland, I've been fortunate to call the San Francisco Bay Area home for the past 10 years, where I've supported countless local families. Thanks to my internationally recognized certification, I'm also able to work with families across the United States, Ireland, and around the world through virtual consultations.

Helping families get the rest they deserve isn't just my profession, it's my passion. I look forward to supporting your family, helping your little one develop healthy sleep habits, and giving you the confidence to enjoy this special season with more rest, more joy, and more peace.

Our Methods:

The Sleepy Baby method uses a science-based based gentle, responsive sleep approach that focuses on understanding your baby's sleep cues. This responsive approach allows parents to support their baby, helping them to still feel safe and secure throughout the process. This responsive, gradual approach gives your baby the confidence to successfully settle themselves with less parental involvement over time. At The Sleepy Baby, we value each unique baby, meaning not one size fits all. The Sleepy Baby understands that you are the expert on your child, so we value parental collaboration and input. All sleep plans are designed to work with the baby's natural sleep rhythm and biological clock. Each sleep plan is tailored to the unique temperament, age, and developmental needs of each baby/child, while also factoring in family sleep goals and values.

This method will also work with babies who still need night feedings, both breast and bottle.

What The Sleepy Baby Offers

We work with families from the last trimester of pregnancy up until 6 years of age. We do not recommend sleep coaching until 16 weeks (adjusted age). We work with families to educate on healthy sleep habits from birth. From 16 weeks to 5 years, we create customized sleep plans for each child. As no two children are the same (not even twins), we will create a sleep plan that is individualized and based on the age, temperament, developmental needs, family philosophy, and the natural biological rhythm of the child. We will work together to meet your family's sleep goals.
